perfect match to colors in my carpet- very happy

Just had this mat several days but so far it stays in place over carpet. Yay! No more trip hazard that I had with my old mat. Took out of box, unfolded and it was flat as a pancake, no edges curling up. Looks pleasantly neutral on my beige carpet and my chair rolls without problem. Hope it lasts a good while, I do like it.

great mat and looks expensive

The 1/2" x 40" x 54" chair mat, for carpet works pretty well. It stays put which is really nice. My chair doesn't sink into it making it hard to roll after sitting in it for a while and it looks pretty nice, too. I do wish it was another four to six inches wider, but the 54" length is good for my desk. For my purpose a mat that was 46" x 60" would be perfect. The material on the top side, does show where the mat folds in the middle. Optimally this would not show, but it's a pretty minor complaint.

Very nice to replace the old fashioned clear plastic mat with something that looks like a rug. Looks great in my space and chair rolls nicely as stated.
