The quality of this item is terrible. Within a couple days of receiving it, the finish started chipping off the top. It has gotten worse every day and looks awful. The entire finish is just peeling away. The way the top attaches to the base causes the table to wobble any time you touch or lean on it. The top is also grooved- which makes it very difficult for schoolwork/art for the kids because it’s not a flat surface. We are very disappointed with this purchase and I would not recommend it. We’ve only had it for about 3 months now and it looks awful. I can’t imagine what it will look like next year.

We absolutely love this table! The size is perfect for a large family. We keep 6 chairs around the table at all times and have 2 more next to the buffet for when the whole family is home and we could honestly have room for even more if we squeezed in. My favorite part is having the real wood grain texture look without having to worry about water rings or spills ruining solid wood furniture. Allows for much more relaxing dinners with grandkids while still looking high end. The base is solid and perfection! 10/10!

Overall very nice for the price! Shape and style are wonderful. It definitely doesnt have a real wood depth of finish or feel, but its a great value if you are just wanting to update.
