Do not buy this chest. I put in a good review when I first got it because it is pretty. But, after a few months the drawers stick terribly and the metal hooks to open and close the drawers come off. First they come off and you can put them back on, then they break and you can't get them back on. The drawers tighten up and I am no longer able to open nor close them. I am moving and leaving this chest behind. It's useless.

The dresser arrived with no need for any sort of assembly, which is awesome. It's sturdy with lovely details like the top drawer is felt lined, and the overall design adds color and interest to any room you might place it in. If I had any criticism, it would be that the drawers are fairly shallow because of the way the design bows in and out but it works fine and still holds a lot of clothing. If you're looking for a painted piece that doesn't look or feel cheesy, this is the one for you! Pros: lovely design, interesting shape and colors, dimensions are good for smaller rooms Cons: drawer design means shallower middle of each drawer
