The size and style are good. The finish is flat and scuffed, like only a coat of white primer was applied. Overall, Im very disappointed, and would definitely not recommend this bookcase, especially considering the price.

Beautiful piece. Over priced but was exactly what I was looking for.

I actually bought this last April and was thoroughly disappointed. I bought the white bookcase which looks as if it was damaged and repaired. It’s not worth the money by any means. I was dealing with a family member’s death at the time and didn’t follow up to complain to Wayfair. But today I was shopping for another piece of furniture, and will not risk shopping for a high ticket item again.

This bookcase is really lovely. I had been looking for an antique bookshelf and just was not finding anything that was in good condition and in my price range. I started looking elsewhere and when I saw this, I loved it. Sent a link to my husband, and he liked it too. Reading the reviews, a few people mentioned that the finish was not totally smooth on the shelves - that has actually played in my favor. I don't have to use bookends for the books I have put on it, so that's a big plus in my opinion. The color is lovely, and it goes well with the furniture in our space. It has fit in so well, I keep forgetting that it's new to the house.
