Desserte Salome

The cabinet is gorgeous! I will say that I don't understand why Wayfair has it listed as "assembly required" other than to make an extra buck off the consumer. The Wayfair assembly guy was very professional that I paid an extra $100 for to assemble the product. He did assist me with moving it in the house from the garage, he tightened some screws as well as assembled the feet. I hope to have him back to assemble some other items. This piece comes fully assembled with the exception of the feet that basically screw in the bottom. It did arrive with a crack in the wood at the bottom near the base easily repaired with black wood putty and a little black stain. I colored any nicks that wasn't part of the distressed look with a sharpe. Can't tell at all. Other than all of that it is a beautiful piece of furniture.

It's description is right on! Distressed Antique. An old dresser someone chose to paint. This is a very poorly made piece of furniture. Draws have no slides, there were paint imperfections and the hinges were even painted. It is made of fiberboard wood that flacked. It is not worth the $650 that I paid. I ended up repainting it because it looked like it just had a primer coat on it. We kept it because it was the right size and we needed it for Christmas. Too bad. A little more effort and it could have been a nice addition to anyone's home.
