I really needed extra space moving from a large suburban home to a city townhome where the kitchen is half the size. The rack is sturdy and looks OK. I think some of the shelf measurements are off. I had planned to put my stand mixer on one of the shelves and did not fit. This is despite the measurements I took ahead of time. HOWEVER, there were some serious issues with the assembly. You definitely need two people because the side supports need to be constantly squeezed inward to bring the holes into alignment for the screws. It is also difficult to judge how loose you should leave all of the bolts until all the parts are assembled. Too loose the thing falls apart, too tight and you can’t place the shelves in the proper places, especially given that some of the threads were stripped. To make it we had to use some of our own hardware. The biggest problem was that were absolutely NO holes on the bottom of the « wooden » shelf to attach to the supports via wood screws. I had a drill so I was able make some small holes in the wood where I could thread the screws through. If you are relying only on what was supplied in the box, forget it. Oh and the wood shelf isn’t wood. It is particle board with some type of contact paper on top. So all in all, I wouldn’t buy this again. We are keeping the rack because we need the storage space now. But you could better spend your money elsewhere .
