Horrible, cheap, broken product. Incompetent and careless Wayfair customer support. Item arrived broken in 2 areas on the headboard: 2 pieces are literally chopped off! One in top Left corner, and another bottom R corner of the headboard. The padded area of the headboard has indentations going all across it, and lumps. It's an absolute piece of junk. I tried to return it online, but I was not given the option, even though prior to purchase the item said it's returnable. Called Wayfair on 8/19: employee said she'd started the return for full refund, and scheduled pickup. Said she'd email me the return label within 24-48 hrs. Return label never arrived, and day of pick up was approaching. I called wayfair again on 8/25/25 at 8:06am, spoke with Rosslyn. Employee told me there was NO return processed for my account. She said she was starting the return process, and scheduled daybed to be picked up on 8/29/25, and that return label would be emailed to me in 24-48 hrs. Didnt receive return label, again. Called Wayfair, again, on 8/28/29, talked to Christie--she said the return had been cancelled and item was not being pickedup as I had been told. After a 20min conversation, I told her I'd be disputing the transaction and they could pick up the item if they wanted it back. This is ridiculous. Wayfair customer support has really grown incompetent, careless over the last couple of years. Last time I shop here. FYI: this Charlton daybed has a strong chemical odor, and has a Prop65 warning for formaldehyde, etc. WAYFAIR, COME PICK UP YOUR DEFECTIVE ITEM
