This Mountain View chair set is great, however Wayfair sent us the completely wrong set of chairs (the model), that looked close enough to this model that we didn't realize anything had happened. It was only when we ordered 4 matching chairs and actually got the right ones (the mountain view this time) that we realized we had been delivered the wrong ones the first time! By then we were out of the 30 day return window, and I am stuck with 2 unmatching chairs that I overpaid $80 for the price difference. All this to say, CHECK YOUR ORDER on arrival to make sure it's the actual model you paid for, before your 30 day window is up and nothing can be done.

I wanted chairs that were good quality, made to last. These chairs are exactly what I was looking for style wise and the price was right.

Edit: The finish and the wood is soft. The grey seat and the white paint scratch easily. I still like them but I’m worried about the finish holding up long term. They will get a natural distressed look quickly. Very solid. Well packaged for shipping. Took longer to assemble then expected, had to tighten and loosen and sit on each chair a few times until the were level. I bought the white chairs with grey seats and the matching table. These chairs are not petite, they slope back a big so they take up a little more room then other chairs I’ve had. They are comfortable to sit in.

These are heavy and solid. Very soft, smooth wood. Light tone, white/yellow undertones and matched the online photo. Large enough and study enough for heavier family members. I love the simple design. I looked at an Amish chair similar in design with the lumbar support and it was $300+. These are great. I plan on finishing with two coats of polycrylic clear satin urethane. Love the beach look. We ordered 6 and my husband has assembled - about 20 minutes per chair. No power tools needed, however the holes for screwing on the seat are not pre-drilled, so it might take some hand strength (yay, hubby!) and I think he makes sure the chair is balanced before tightening all screws and putting on the seat. All pieces/parts as well as directions were included. Thanks, Wayfair, these are AWESOME!
