The chair is well made and sturdy. It is a nice heavy chair made from real wood. I was pleased with the craftsmanship of the product.

I bought this chair 24 years ago at a fine furniture store. They did their service for multiple generations. Fast forward to now and I was looking for 4 dining chairs for a new home. Found the same chairs on WAYFAIR for a great price. They came so quickly my husband and I were amazed. He assembled them quickly (minor grumbling so I knew all the pieces were there and instructions were adequate). Today we paint and-just like that- my new dining area is close to complete. The look and quality of these chairs surprising and worth the effort to assemble and paint. Thank you WAYFAIR for this quality product!
