Table de bout madison

The table fits the space I need it for, but the packaging is not good at all. The first table arrived with a big hole in the side of the package and the table base was splintered and unusable. Wayfair processed my return and sent me another table. When it arrived the top was chipped in two places. Luckily, my return had not been picked up so I swapped the damaged top with the undamaged one and returned the 2 damaged pieces together. Putting the table together shouldn't have been difficult except the bolts to fasten the top to the upright support are so close to the brackets that you have trouble getting the allen wrench to turn. I even used an allen wrench owned and not the one that came with the table and still couldn't get them all the way in. However, the table is sturdy enough for my needs so it's working out.

This table was extremely cheap. The top of it looked like a high school woodworking project that someone did not care to do well. It came to me cracked in three or 4 places at the top and sharp edges sticking out. I had to waste 45 minutes of my time trying to get this company to take it back. That is 45 minutes of my work day that cost me money, Not happy Plus it is not 28” across it is 27.5 I know just half an inch but I needed at least 28

Nice looking, but not a substantial piece.
