This is a sturdy counter height stool. The seat is made out of a very thick piece of wood. It’s comfortable to sit on. It’s kind of carved in the old Windsor style. I think it would look better if the wood had been left in a natural color. I believe it will hold up for a long time.

It was very easy to put together, the wood seat is gorgeous! It’s conformed to fit a human rear end. I really like the way it looks, but it isn’t very sturdy. I wouldn’t recommend it for a heavier person at all.

Sturdy stool, quite a bit darker than pictured on site but still pretty. Quick and easy to put together the reason for 4 stars is one of the plastic floor protectors is not fixed in place and slides out of place, other than that it’s a cool stool, I put it together while sitting on the sofa watching television, it can double as a one plate tv tray or a book table.

This counter stool is nice once assembled. It is odd though that the seat is such a different color! The stool I received has a burgundy stain on it. It looks okay, though I really liked the natural look shown online. It is a basic, all around useful tall stool for a variety of settings. In my case, I wanted it to use in my garage while working on some projects. Very pleased!

The stool is a different color from picture on Wayfair. It’s a darker orange wood color. After assembling the product, one of the screws was defective and could not be screwed in. The stool seems sturdy if the screw is able to work.
