Chaise berçante Dedman

I have mixed feelings. The design is beautiful. But the quality control leaves a lot to be desired. There are a number of small spots where the wood is showing through the finish. We are going to touch those up. Also the piece was not sanded well enough before finishing so that there are a few rough areas but not noticeable unless you happen to rub your hand there. One real concern it that there is a piece of cane strip near the edge that was not tucked in good under the edging. I am afraid that strip will come undone. It's at the front edge of the chair where you will be sliding in and out. We are going to buy black lacquer to touch up the spots with no finish and perhaps shellac the cane on the seat and back to keep it stuck down. We only discovered this after my husband assembled this. I would recommend that you look over the pieces really well before assembling. Since it was half off and we think we can deal with the defects we are keeping it. If it was not assembled, I probably would have sent it back.

I purchased this rocking chair a year ago. It is in my office and gets about 8 hours of use a week. The seat has completely collapsed (See picture below). I do not recommend this item.

I got a replacement for my first rocking chair as that one was damaged. Now the second one is broke the seam of the seat is coming undo and the frame of the wood is expanding apart. If I can get a refund I would appreciate it.

Replacement for previous chair. Back rocker legs are too short and it makes rocking feel like it is going to tip backwards

We loved this rocking chair! We’ve had it in my son’s room since he was a newborn but sadly the seat has completely broken down and now it’s unusable. We would love to replace the seat since it is so special to us. Wayfair can you help us out?
