Solid wood and appears to be genuine caning. Comfortable and sturdy! Wider than most stools so they take up more room. Challenging to assemble for one person. It takes two people.

Great quality/value for the price. You could spend a lot more to get marginally better stools and a loot less for stools that look like they belong in a dorm. These are solid, directions organized well, look great. One improvement would be pine wood screw caps, but you can buy on your own. Bought 4 stools and highly recommend.

The chairs are beautiful and easy to assemble—very sturdy. I wasn’t very happy with some discoloration defects in the rattan, but Wayfair customer service helped me resolve the issue.

These are perfect! Easy to assemble. Did them both by myself in about a half hour. The only issue was the left and right legs on one stool was mislabeled. Thankfully, I had assembled the one that was labeled correctly first, or otherwise I would have assembled it backwards. I am also glad I went with the 26” height.
