Table de bout Behdad

This is a pretty piece of furniture and it's solid wood which I love... However, in person it's not really a whitewashed wood like the picture shows. It's actually wood with literal white paint over it and way more than I'd prefer. It's good quality for the price, but I'm disappointed in the look.

This is a heavy stable table. The first one I received was broken and Wayfair acted fast and sent a replacement out quickly. There was a little difference in the paint wash color between the two I received. the second one was a little whiter is color.
