I’d give it 0 stars if I could. The rattan is cheap plastic that was stained on both pieces I ordered. The screws are so cheap that the snap as you try to tighten them and the wood splinters as you try to assemble. Don’t waste your time.

This piece of furniture was the most difficult piece of furniture I have ever had to put together. The screws would not go in all the way thus rendering the drawer unusable. We stripped screws, tried different tools and still were unable to get the screws fully seated to allow the drawer to be inserted. I would not recommend this item at all. I was also disappointed that the rattan work on the front was plastic and not a natural material.

If there was a way to give this a 3 star rating I would, I should probably give it a weak 4 but can’t do that either so here goes. This is great for a really tight corner such as the one I have. It’s also very lightweight so that’s a plus if you needed to move it. It’s high enough to sweep under. It’s low enough that it doesn’t appear or feel like it it takes up any space at all. Great for a small guest room, next to a futon or a chair it would look great. The drawer is quite roomy so a lot of space to stash your whatnots. Now for the other stuff. The instructions are printed very small so have a magnifier at the ready if you’re over 30. Also, grab a screwdriver it’s faster. None of the pieces have a labeled designation, so none of the A goes into B pictorial essay you usually encounter, but once you get the visual in your mind it will take less than ten minutes to assemble. So figure on 10 minutes to decipher the modern hieroglyphics, another 10 to assemble, and a final minute or two to set the instructions on fire and dance. Lastly, the front of the drawer is just a plastic insert that looks just fine on the outside, particularly tucked away in a small corner as mine is but when anyone opens the drawer the secret is out. Not bad, not great but cute. I’d buy it on sale.
