Table de bout en bois récupéré Adams

I purchased the Adams reclaimed side table three months ago and love it. While it had a crack, it’s a beautiful solid piece. Yesterday I received the Adams end table which I had ordered to match the other one. Both are Birch Lane Adams in natural finish. However, the first one appears to have a stain or glaze on it, while this one’s finish appears raw. As such, the colour is quite different, and while the design matches, the finishes don’t. They’re not cheap tables, so now need to see what can be done or if there’s a stain that could be applied to this end table to make it match the side table. Bottom line, they’re beautiful pieces if you only need one, but I would avoid if you want two to match in the same room. Photo shows the side table (assembled, on right) and the end table received yesterday (not yet assembled, on left).
