This is an excellent piece. It's heavy and requires two people to lift the iron into place on the base. The photos are good for representing how it looks. It's industrial and elegant, which was perfect for my needs.

Bookcase is well built. Wood is not smooth, has more of a rough finish but works for us. I would suggest paying for the upgraded delivery as it is a heavy piece and you need 2 people to assemble.

This bookcase is exactly what we were looking for. It's solid construction and good looking as well. The boxes they ship in are giant and heavy so prepare for that. We built it pretty quickly but noticed that the hinges for the bottom storage needed slight adjustments. The instructions don't say how but it is a tool-less cabinet hinge and you can adjust it yourself but if you're unfamiliar with hinges/cabinetry, you may miss this step. Overall, great purchase, highly recommend.
