Chaise d'appoint Annabel, noir (Ensemble de 2)

I like the look of these chairs. Assembly wasn’t bad but the hardware was all over the box and for a little while we thought we didn’t have it all. The main reason I gave them three stars is because the measurements were completely wrong. It says the seat is 20”x20” and they are much smaller at 16”x17”. I’m glad I waited to order the seat cushions for them. I picked these because they had a bigger seat than the others in this style but they don’t really, so I’m annoyed. Update 6 months in and we’ve had to repair the bottom rungs of the chairs several times. No one is abusive to them but we find them snapped like the wood is made of balsa. They are very cheap and not durable.

I can't find another way to report this so I guess I'll write a review. One of the cross piece dowels snapped on one of my chairs. Wooden dowel, just snapped in two with very little pressure. If it had been one of my kids sitting in the chair, or someone else, I'd think they put too much weight on it or something. But I was personally the one sitting there. I barely touched the connecting dowel and it almost popped. Other than that the chairs are fine. They look good, comfortable enough, easy to put together. If Birch lane could send me a new chair or even just new legs/dowels I'll update the review to 5 stars.

Do not buy! The leg supports are too short to assemble correctly. We wood glued, clamped, and screwed them in to try to make it work with enough support, and even still one char collapsed while a guest was sitting on it within two weeks of purchase. Thankfully Wayfair did refund me but absolutely do not buy this fault product!

These chairs are exactly what I was looking for and, believe me, I looked everywhere! I was concerned that for the reasonable price they might look cheap or feel flimsy, but they look perfect and seem very sturdy. I was replacing the chairs I had with my kitchen table and these look a million times better than the previous ones. I didn't want an overly traditional look and these have that perfect blend of modern and traditional.

Exceeded my expectations!! The chairs were delivered in perfect condition and wrapped extremely well. Very easy to assemble. Just had to attach the legs.
