While I acknowledge this stool is made from salvaged wood and may contain nicks I didn’t expect it to have a what appears to be a chiseled out piece in the middle of the seat

the furniture that arrived, has visible staining rubbing off as you touch on top and on the sides. There are more darker spots on the bench in comparison to the web photo. In addition, the company won't allow you to have this item picked up to return as it doesn't qualify for a pickup.

Small but will work to sit and dry off next to the shower, perfect for a small bathroom area

Nice barnwood style if searching for a rustic touch in a home. Suitable as a little table on the side of a sofa, but too bulky to be a stool for a dinning table in my opinion.

Bought four and can see that the manufacturing process doesn't leave any wood to waste, as 2 of the finished pieces have parts that I think would have been thrown away in other circumstances. Basically solidly built, but the imperfections are a little high. These are so solid/heavy there is no reasonable way to return these, so be prepared for that also.
