Wanted a chair that we could use for a home office desk, but that could also be a stand alone accent piece if and when we no longer had a home office. This fits the bill. Nice solid wood and interesting details. It sits low, so it won't be good for very tall people. I added a thicker cushion to raise it up a bit. It's very sturdy.

I bought this chair for my mom who is 85. She loves it because it is strong and heavy and can help her get up without too much of a hassle. I also love the chair and the quality. Fits in well with my antique furniture.
