FIRST note that these do not look like the picture. The top of the seat is slats with grooves, not one smooth surface. The stain is very poorly done, so the legs look splotchy with white and dark spots. Finally, out of three that I ordered, only one could I make level, because the legs do not fit well into the seat.

This is so much better than pictured, solid heavy wood, beautiful grain, easy assembly. I needed a fourth stool that would blend with my others at my kitchen bar, but that I could disguise it when not in use. Makes a great plant table in my guest room, until I need that fourth seat for meals. Perfect ! This was a win win. Very pleased thank you Wayfair for saving my problem so beautifully.

This counter stool is heavier and more solid than expected. It comes in pieces and the holes weren't drilled to line up perfectly, which made assembly challenging. The coloring was lighter, less uniform, and more gray-toned in person. Based on the online photos I also expected the seat to be one solid board but it was 5 pieced together and slatted.

Not at all what I expected. I thought the too would be smooth. Not a fan of the planks for the style of my house, but overall it is a very well made heavy sturdy stool.

Deducting a star because the wrench given to put the bolts in doesn’t fit 2 of the bolts. I was able to get it out together fairly easy other that the two bolts (pictured still sticking out) The color is beautiful it seems sturdy. I’m going to use this as an end table rather than a bar stool.
