Very impressed with the quality. Solid heavier than expected. It came in one piece, so all I had to do was unboxed it set it next to my sofa. Black is a pretty, soft black color you can see the wood grain. Good for low-profile couches. I didn’t want it to be taller than the arm of my sofa why I went with it
