Lovely quality with a personal note from the creator. Truly an heirloom piece. Be warned, you'll need a small mallet to tap (firmly!) the legs into place as they arrive separated from the stool top. They go in tightly, so firm taps are needed, but this just means they are IN FOR GOOD. I'm very happy with this stool; it's the perfect height for my legs while on my sofa!

Beautiful and very well made. Looks better in person. I would call it more of a footstool than an ottoman because it is relatively small and footstool height. Works perfectly with the antique chair I bought it to go with and I really like it.
