I am over the moon with my Blu Dot Happy Day Shelving Bookcase. I was concerned at first that I wanted to use this as a freestanding piece and it is so free form in its assembly design plus seemed to need a wall tip element as well. It turns out to be SOLID. What impeccable design. As someone with a fine art and design background, I am so impressed with the attention to details on every level. The actual design, the finishes and quality of materials, the way it was packaged and shipped... Just wow! I am a Blu Dot customer for life now. I will be looking to them for a bench and desk in the not too distant future. Beautiful furniture, thanks!

For the price, I was expecting perfection. Instead I received 4 shelves and one is obviously a different color/shade despite all being labeled as walnut. For over $1,000, this is unacceptable. Also the sheer amount of packaging (especially styrofoam) is an absolute nightmare to deal with.
