This piece of furniture is a real problem solver for my long living room.The unusual form allows seating in either direction (in my case, towards the fireplace or towards the tv), and still keeps the center of the room visually open. It's also a great spot to lounge and read, or sit with a friend for a good conversation. It perplexes me to see pics in some reviews where it's pushed up against a wall- people, you're missing the point! We've had it for 6 months, and so far it's holding up well. A wonderful, versatile, and stylish addition to the room.

Took a gamble on this piece by going the non traditional route. I wanted a piece that could float in the middle of the room to keep the room airy and light. This space has a screen in porch with large windows into the main area that I wanted guests to have the option to sit and talk to people in that space as well. This was perfect to have dual direction seating. It was a higher price tag but the construction shows. that

Its seems like the perfect solution to my open concept living room. Its great for taking a nap. My 8-year-old nephew calls at the spy couch because you can face opposite directions and have a conversation and no one can tell youre talking to each other. Haha.
