I think it is really cool looking. However, some of the planks came damaged- mushed at the corners. If it wasn’t so heavy I might have returned it. Was relatively easy to assemble. Had to use touch up paint for some damaged spots. Also, a bit unstable. Will bolt to the wall. But looks nice.

It’s very good quality for the price

Literally cannot support the weight of books. After 2 months the thing gave out and broke apart. Yes, it was assembled correctly. No, the books were not unusually heavy, almost all paperback

Love it, just as I expected and hoped it to be. Can’t say about assembly as I had added professional assembly. Didn’t take very long and it is very stable and sturdy.

I went with a slightly gray one, it’s easy to assemble and it’s not that heavy. If you’re planning on stacking it with books all throughout, this might not be the perfect shelf for you, obviously it’s a bit thin and might not hold. You just have to balance it out like I did, or get a more expensive shelf. Because honestly for the price, I think this is a good deal. I just wished it came in with a “beige” color that had the darker part (edge) as wallnutdarker brown color.
