Armoire Donaghey

It’s beautiful but I’m waiting for the Wayfair repair person to show up- lots of glitches. The three shelf brackets are installed in a way the shelves can’t be removed, and they were shipped all stacked on top of each other. There was supposed to be a hole drilled for TV cords; that was not done. And the front carving is missing stain in some places. Too many issues for a $2000 item that Wayfair said was non-returnable!

It is a beautiful, unique piece!

This is definitely a noir accent piece. I expected it to be more silver. Think of a old high school graduation ring that’s been oxidized to highlight the images and the year like it’s been antiqued so the details are highlighted. This is more a craft statement piece vs a fine furniture piece. I would prefer the drawers to open and close smoothly. The doors use two rings to open but they’re located in an odd place and I don’t have good leverage due to placement to open the doors. Also doors are sticky and require quite a tug to open. However, everyone seems to love the look of it in our bedroom.
