I finally had a chance to put together the bookcase and cleared out the space where it was supposed to go in the bathroom. However, I must have measured wrong, it ended up being too long for the space (horizontially). I flipped it on it's side and now I'm strategizing how to use it in the space in a different way. Otherwise, the wood is sturdy and it was easy to put together. The directions indicate that there are doors that can be added to the frame.

The bookcase has 4 cubbies that give lots of space for storage of books or any other items you choose. The wood is a white manufactured wood . The package was extremely heavy to bring in from outside. It does includes hardware to anchor the cabinet to a wall. This shelf is really nice quality. It came packaged well and was fairly easy to put together. Did have to have help on larger pieces as it is heavy compressed wood which tends to be heavier than many other types of wood. You also have to be super careful when dealing with compressed wood as you can easily damage spots where you have pre-drilled holes if you don't have the weight distributed evenly. so, my suggestion is having someone help you with those larger pieces as it can cause irreplaceable damage if you mess up. It really looks nice after it's put together. I got this piece for a guest bedroom. Really pleased with this piece.

The adjustable shelves were a nice touch, allowing me to customize the layout to fit larger books and decorative pieces. Unfortunately, I did have one issue, there was one panel that was damaged, but the chipped panel was not severe enough to make the bookcase unusable, and it ended up being in the corner which will not be seen by anyone. Once assembled, the bookcase is sturdy and holds a significant amount of weight without wobbling. It’s a practical solution for anyone looking to organize their space, but I would recommend inspecting all parts carefully before assembly to avoid potential frustration. Despite the chipped panel, the quality and functionality of this bookcase make it a worthwhile purchase and I am very happy with it and with a little extra care in packaging, it could easily be a five-star product.

This arrived at my home in a well-packed shipping carton and the parts were all in good condition, parts packages sensibly labeled and assembly components stickered for easy lay-out and follow-along with the assembly instructions. Assembly instructions were mostly images and labels which were VERY easy to follow. The weight of wood and trim pieces is of decent quality for the cost of the bookshelf and it was dimensionally as advertised after set-up. Would definitely buy another of this manufacturers knock-down furniture pieces again in the future !
