This bookshelf is heavy and very sturdy. I love the black paneling behind the shelf. It was easy to assemble, and looks great. The shelves are spacious. Will likely buy a second bookcase to have a set for my books.

I really like the style of this bookcase. It was fairly simple and fast putting it together. I am giving only 3 stars because one, there was a back panel that was broken when we opened the box, and two, I honestly thought the entiretjing would be black.

I wanted to love this bookshelf because it was the perfect size for the space I needed it in. But, as you can see from pictures, there were several issues. Both the top and bottom pieces came marked/damaged. At first I thought- nothing a little paint can't fix. Then I realized that the warning sticker was placed on the top side of the shelving (no, they can't be flipped over because of how the hardware goes in), and is nearly impossible to remove. And last but not least, it only came with three black backs instead of four, so now I have a shelf that doesn't match the others. Very disappointing.

Really pretty bookcase, its exactly what I was looking for. It's sturdy (heavy!) and feels as though it could hold a lot. It was easy to put together and didn't take long. I deducted a star because it did arrive damaged- both the bottom and top pieces were scraped up, showing the brown mdf through the paint. It will be easy to touch up, but still bummed that it arrived that way.

This tall bookcase is beautiful and was simple to put together! The directions were easy to follow, and the piece itself is very sturdy. This is not thin particle board, with the exception of the black backing. It’s a strong, heavy piece of furniture. The base and top design make this piece stand out. It definitely looks higher-end when put together. It’s narrow enough to just add a bit of height and decor to a room, but is also sturdy enough to handle books or heavier items without warping. All tools needed come with. Highly recommend!
