Update I reduced this to one star for a couple of reasons. One is that the bed is wobbling after my daughter slept in it four nights. Two is that we never were able to build the underbed drawer. The instructions are absurd. The slats are flimsy and break through when the screws are even minimally tightened. I was going to have my carpenter rebuild the drawer using better wood for the base and just the front to match, but I’m considering having the whole thing hauled away as junk. What an utter waste of time and money. This is junk and Wayfair should be ashamed to sell it. The bed is cute. Assembly is ridiculous. My friend and I have assembled many, many pieces of furniture and this is in our top three worst assembly experiences. The primary problem is the illogic of the instructions. Where it could say “screw part one onto part two, then attach part two to parts 3-5,” it instead says “balance part two on unsecured, wobbly parts 3-5, then hold them upright, balanced on a quarter inch edge while screwing part one onto the top piece.” Those bottom pieces were absolutely unnecessary to that step. In fact, they are unnecessary until they’re put in place one at a time later in the process, instead of being held together while you try to awkwardly slide them all into place at once. In another step, instead of having you attach two small pieces to a part of the frame before attaching the frame to the bed, it has you lie on your ear and contort your body on the floor to screw the tiny pieces under the frame. Throughout, the instructions made every step far more difficult than it needed to be. Lots of parts needed to be screwed in where there were no pre drilled holes. If you buy this bed, I recommend you pay for assembly and save several frustrating days of your life.

Very disappointed in Wayfair. Shame on Wayfair for sending this product. All panels arrived stuck together ( paint had not dried ). Difficult to assemble.
