The looks and quality of this desk is top notch. The problem is that when my 6'2" husband went to sit behind it, there is only a 24" knee-space clearance. My desk has a 28" knee-space clearance. We are currently trying to figure out our options.

This desk is absolutely beautiful and better in person than the picture online. I have been looking for over a year for a desk to compliment the two black Sanctuary curio cabinets and Sanctuary sideboard I purchased a while back on Wayfair for my office. I could not have found a better option out there and from a different manufacturer too...Heckman. The brown leather top picks up the brown wood of the inside of the curios. The black is not too shiney and has a rubbed finish in a few areas (not all over) with some light distressing. It is a substantial desk for a writing desk and quite heavy. The delivery guys were very nice and brought the box inside the entry, placing it right side up so the box was in perfect position to open and start. It takes two people move but is very easy to assemble.
