Well made and sturdy. The wood is not truly black as in the description but a very very deep dark brown when up close. Black when at a distance..

It arrived in great shape and my husband put it together in a snap. I'm using it as an entrance bench and it is working perfectly! It looks and feels like great quality. Very comfortable to sit on too!
