This set was the second set that was shipped to me after being contacted by FedEx that the first set was damaged during shipping and in need of replacement. Here is the good the bad and the ugly... The good: it looks great from across the room and an undamaged set would have been perfect to fit the room it was ordered for. All of the pieces were in the box. The bad: this is pretty shoddy metal work with very evident grind marks over welds and a poor finish. The ugly: this box was severely damaged and had I of been able to refuse accepting the package I would have. It appears that the same damaged set was just taped up and re-shipped as there was a significant amount of tape on the box. Every single chair has significant scratches from the poor packaging of the component pieces in the box. They were zip tied together without any significant cushioning material between them. The corner of the table top is broken and appears to have been dropped with significant force on the corner as there were flimsy plastic corner protectors in the packaging. The table will suffice as I am in an apartment and need to have a table. For $300 it is a shame that I recieved a product that I probably would not have purchased out of a scratch and dent section for anything over $75. This is not consistent with my other pleasant furniture buying experience with wayfair as I also have recently purchased two beds and a couch all of which showed up undamaged and serviceable.

I love the set. I received a damaged one the first time, but they sent me a new one right away. I like how they did not question anything and just replaced it. I did send photos though showing the damage.

The table corner was pretty damaged . The metal chair was scratched as well
