This is a really pretty piece. The finish is very nice. There is a large break in the wood on the top shelf area which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Great bookshelf. Taller than I thought but I love it.

This is a very nice little bookcase. I needed something small, and this is perfect. It is well-made and sturdy. I would have given it five stars, instead of just four, except for one issue. The front edge of one shelf facing out is not uniformly stained and does not match the rest of the bookcase. It is quite obvious. I would have returned the bookcase and reordered another, but I chose to keep it and avoid the hassle of an exchange.
