Bureau d'écriture Colburn avec plateau à clavier rabattable

Terrible purchase. I should’ve read the reviews first. Took 2 people 8 hours to put it together. Instructions are unclear (to see the least). Top piece was warped. Holes not drilled out properly. Requires assembly in 2 pieces. The top piece then needs to be lifted about 3 feet and place on the bottom piece. However, the top piece was so heavy 2 people couldn’t lift it that high. We finally managed to get it together, but it’s flimsy (rocks side to side) and the quality looks cheap. The photo is of the top piece laying on my counter and you can see how warped it is. The other photo shows how the holes were not drilled properly.

This desk is so so gorgeous! It seems pretty heavy duty and it has a decent weight to it. It was delivered quickly and packaged well. The colors are really pretty and it looks great with my newly painted walls. It is very gray on the top with some dark tones throughout it. the white washed legs and drawers are really well done. The furniture style legs also give it a nice touch. The back side is also finished and we plan on moving it to the middle of the room once our other desk is packed and moved out and the floors are completed. The glides are nice on the drawers and the middle drawer folds down so you can type and store a key board. There is also a decent size notch for wires out the back of the middle drawer. I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone!

This desk is beautiful , really looks expensive and well made , steady enough . Surface is very fancy . I would even think to have it as a dining table as it almost the same dimensions as my almost the same color dinning table what got a lot of scratches. Very pleased with purchase. The assembly can’t be easier than that, only 3 pieces what you screw together .

The desk is big and very sturdy. I don’t know why a ‘writing desk’ would be designed with a slatted writing surface. The matching hutchcabinet does not have a slatted surface, it’s smooth.

Our desk arrived as scheduled and in excellent condition. Having read other reviews, we did not request or pay for assembly. Assembly was very easy and only took about 15 minutes - 4 guide pins for the legs and 8 leg screws, tightened with an Allen Wrench (included in the hardware packages). Very happy with our purchase
