Extremely firm, not comfortable at all. The back is unstable due to the way you assemble it. Returning it was cost prohibitive, so I am forced to keep it.

The chair is very hard. Almost flimsy. Looks nice.

This chair is Olive green more like the darker picture. The upholstery is a textured woven fabric with a matte look giving it a retro appearance. The backrest is tall with a slight wingback. The seat cushion is not reversible and has Velcro to hold it in place on the underside. Also the seat cushion is very, very hard and not at all comfortable. The base and legs of the chair are made of solid wood and light color. I would use this chair in a bedroom for just an accent and not for actual use. Thank you Wayfair!
