I really liked these barstools. Husband liked the ones he picked out best and he won, so I returned these. The swivel was smooth and the back rest supportive. I (female in my 50s) put them together on my own and it was pretty easy. They looked great and felt solid. They may be a little small for larger people, like over 300 lbs. (actually I think 300 might exceed the recommended weight limit). Anyway, I would easily recommend these.

I really like my new barstools, they go very nicely with my decor. They were fairly easy to assemble. Only downside is one is a little wobbly.

More comfortable wi thought they would be.
