Really nice table, but a bit expensive for the quality. The black top shows many marks consistently

I really like this coffee table! Its solid construction. The lift mechanism is a bit flimsy and the color is not a deep black. It seems to have a brown undertone to it. I should have paid to have it assembled

Nice looking coffee table for how inexpensive it was. Installation instructions were okay. Screws to put hinges on top half that lifts were difficult to get in place. My daughter and I put it together in under an hour and it helped that there were two of us. Connection inside the box are covered with stickers, but they dont look that bad at all (remember, you get what you pay for). Would give it 4.5 stars because of the difficulty getting the hinges in place, but gave it a 5 so as to not lower the rating more than I should.
