I’m always hesitant to purchase an ‘important’ piece for my home without seeing it in person. You can’t see the material or feel the workmanship, it’s always a gamble. I’ve been searching for the right dining chairs to complement my grandmother’s mid-century modern dining table. I knew that matching the wood color would be difficult and I accepted that there will be differences, I was mainly going for style, and of course, comfort. I think I hit the nail on the head with these Gunnar Mid-Century solid wood dining chairs! These chairs are well constructed, the wood is beautiful and the off-white hand-woven seat is perfect! I really enjoyed (well, honestly, my husband enjoyed) the fact that they did NOT require any assembly! I couldn’t be happier with our purchase and I think this might be my favorite Wayfair purchase so far!

Beautifully made and comfortable to sit in - more so than anticipated. Lightweight yet feels sturdy. The walnut finish is beautiful and contrasts nicely with woven seat. Looks great with my dining table. My only complaint is this chair is 17.5” from floor to seat so just a tad short for my standard height 29” H dining table - but I’m 5’ 9”” so works ok for me or any taller guests I may have. Shorter people may need a cushion added to seat to bring up to comfortable table top height. Chair is so beautiful though and works so perfectly with my DR table, that this small issue is not a concern for me. Super well packaged and love that finish is chemical free. Very happy with my purchase and now I’m going to order three more to make a set.

The chair is just as described as picture online. No assembly needed. It is lightweight, but still feels sturdy. I use it as a desk chair in the guest bedroom.

Super stylish, well made and go well with my boho eclectic style! Not very comfy though.

Beautiful chairs, look great with a black round table, comfortable and came built so no assembly required. They are a little short but maybe that's because I'm short! (5'4)
