There was no directions that came with the table. If somebody hit the table it would be easily for the glass to fall off. The glass is thick and base is nice. Overall the table is a nice table, but for me to place the glass on top of the base without security I can keep the table for that reason.

Very pleased with this table the glass is sturdy and thick. I had been searching for quite a while and you can buy less expensive ones but the glass will be thin and the top flimsy . The base is good solid wood. My only disappointment is that my table had not been delivered yet and was being advertised for a lower price but Wayfair would not price match it .

While a bit pricey, this table is really sturdy and well built. The glass is decent thickness and fairly heavy. I would recommend this.
