These stools are not 26”. These are bar stools for NBA referees. I sat down and accidentally made eye contact with a passing airplane. My feet are now a decorative suggestion. If your kitchen island isn’t approximately the height of the CN Tower, you may want to double-check your measurements. They’re actually really nice and comfortable—which is why I’m giving them 4 stars—but I now need supplemental oxygen every time I have breakfast. I measured. I re-measured. I questioned my tape measure. Then I questioned reality itself. Once you’re seated, you can finally see what the neighbors have been doing for the last three years. Great quality, just be absolutely certain your counter wasn’t built by regular humans.

I love these barstools. I got the tall ones because my kitchen counter is very tall where these sit and I am very tall as well. So getting in them isn't too much of a struggle, but you are up high off the ground. Someone who is a smaller stature person will have trouble getting in the tall bar stools. I just love them for working at the counter on my laptop or eating a quick lunch. Love the Dark Moca!
