The assembly was not difficult. The directions were very clear pictures with no words. All the parts were there and all the holes were alined correctly. It took me about three hours to do myself. The wood is beautiful and so is the finish. This was just the bed we needed to warm up our mid-century steel, brick and glass bedroom and we are very happy with it. The reason I cannot give it five stars is that there were dings to the legs. They were not bad enough to return the piece but they do take away from the beauty of the bed..

This is a very high bed (my feet don’t touch the floor when I sit in it) - not what I was expecting and while the wood color is quality that matched my teak mid century night stands it’s an easily denting scratching peeling fake wood. It came with several marks and dents in visible locations. The mattress barely sits in the frame it rests only one inches within the frame. The description on this item is also wrong it mentions drawers and there aren’t any. If you are looking for a tall bed and you are lucky to get one that is not scratched it’s not bad, but I can’t say anything regarding durability. For the price I think they should package better.

Bed is exactly as pictured and very sturdy! 4 stars instead of 5 because it wasn’t packed very well and had a few scratches on the wood - luckily all in not very visible areas so we just kept it rather then trying to replace. It’s also a bit higher than we expected, so ended up replacing our mattress with a thinner one to get the right look.

Beautiful bed frame! The color is more red than it looks in the photos. The headboard came in a box that was completely destroyed so it has some scratches.

This bed is supposed to hold 800 lbs. it didn’t last two days and the bed broke everywhere. The parts that broke were pieces the manufacturer attached not part of the bed assembly.
