The table is beautiful and well-constructed. Unfortunately, after 4 months of use, several hairline cracks developed on the top. While I read that this can happen with wood, I wonder if that is due to poor wood preparation or quality control. Also, tiny indents on the top were covered with some wood putty. It is not noticeable unless you look very closely, but it also seems unconventional to do that on the tabletop, and maybe a sign of either poor wood quality or preparation. Although maybe expected given the price for solid wood table?
