OMG I love this sofa! Ok so I saw this exact sofa, manufactured by the same European furniture company, at a boutique furniture store in Richmond. However, Wayfair had the sofa for hundreds of dollars cheaper and I could save hundreds on shipping using Wayfair. I was skeptical and debated for months if I should pull the trigger on purchasing it thru Wayfair because I wasn’t sure if this was a knockoff or end up being slightly different from the one I saw in-person. I am so pleasantly surprised this is the exact sofa. I only regret waiting so long to order. As for the item… I purchased the light grey with the black legs. The grey is slightly darker than the professional photos, which is a good thing because those photos make it appear more off white or dusty cream than a grey. The height of the sofa is perfect. I’m one of those people who absolutely hate low-sitting sofas. I don’t want kid-sized furniture! Im 5’7 and my hips are parallel to my knees when I sit down, which is not the case with a lot of sofas on Wayfair. They will have your knees elevated because your bottom is sitting so low. The back of the sofa hits just below my shoulders, and not mid-back like those low-sitting sofas. The seat is somewhat firm, but I prefer it this way because I do not like frumpyslouchy looking sofa cushions. The seat cushions are not removable. Bummer, but oh well. The back cushions can be removed and they stay in place with a Velcro backing. It also has a zipper to remove the cushions if you want. The leather is such good quality… smooth with a very subtle pebble texture to it. The stitching is uniformed and very tailored looking. I’m in love with this sofa! This sofa is worth the sales price!
