Great space saver only draw back is there is missing pre drilled holes for screws

First of all, this is a beast to assemble. We had three people working on this, and it's still taking more than six (and counting) hours to assemble. The reason? Holes didn't line up the way they should so we had to drill or create our own, and the directions are vague in really inexcusable places. Second, some of the pieces arrived scratched and dented. Anyone who's gone through the work of unpacking large furniture boxes, laying out all the pieces, and beginning to assemble will know how quickly your quality standards decline when you find pieces in less-than-new condition. Do you pack it all up and ship it back? Probably not. Is it incredibly frustrating that the manufacturer, seller, and delivery company can't manage to supply pieces that haven't been damaged? YES. So, we're making due with less than what we were promised because the idea of going through this all over again is too much to bear. Buyer beware on that front. I can't yet weigh in on whether this piece is any good because we still haven't finished assembling it. My husband had to get tacking nails from the hardware store because the bookcase panels and drawer bottoms don't line up properly and need additional pieces to lay flush. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, I don't care what kind of a "deal" it is. If it's new furniture, even if it needs to be assembled, it should be made well. Fingers crossed that our experience with the bed makes all of this worth it. Right now, though, we're terribly disappointed with the quality.
