The 72 inch cube unit is an interesting "diamond in the rough" as far as bookshelf units are concerned. I like the look of the weathered finished bookshelf, and it looks great in my office. Assembly and final finishing can be a little bit tricky, especially when aligning the backboard and having to nail it and into place. Aside from the backboard, assembly was pretty straightforward and I accomplished putting it up in about an hour and a half. Adjustable pegs allow you to place the shelves at different heights as required which I like as I have some tall books like John Naka's because " bonsai techniques." It is possible to adjust the shelves to virtually any height with a pegboard holes on the uprights. The hardware on the doors on the bottom portion of the shelf are particularly heavy duty and durable. All in all I think this is a good value for the dollar.
