Some of the parts where the wrong size so the bed has literally been falling apart

I ordered this queen-size bed from Wayfair. Unfortunately, the first one arrived with a damaged box, and the bed frame itself was dented. The return process with Wayfair was excellent—it was quick, easy, and hassle-free, and the replacement arrived very quickly. However, when we assembled the second bed, we discovered another issue. As we tightened the screws, we could hear cracking, and the laminate began chipping and falling apart around the screw holes. Ive included photos showing the damage. While I appreciate Wayfairs outstanding customer service, I was very disappointed in the quality of this bed.

Overall very happy with my this platform bed. The design on the head board is beautiful. The directions are easy to follow and I was able to assemble with some assistance under an hour. It does not require a box spring which is awesome.

This is a really cute design but I’m disappointed in the quality. Right from the first step there were issues with the anchors popping thru the particle board and one side doesn’t tighten all the way and lay flush against the supports. It takes two people to assemble and it’s relatively easy, even without typed directions. The directions are all pictures. Only once did I not understand the picture.

The bed was somewhat difficult to put together because the instructions were not very clear. There were also a few issues with missing pieces and the overall quality of the wood. One part of the assembly required a drill to install properly, which was not clearly stated in the instructions. Additionally, I was unable to install one of the screws because the threaded insert needed to secure it was missing. Overall, the assembly process was more frustrating and difficult than expected. However, the bed finish and design looks just like the images depicted online and it does make for a nice guest room bed.
