The back of the seat does not extend past the backrest and leaves a undesirable gap. The staining is inconsistent and uneven. Love the look of the chairs, just the attention to detail is lacking . Seem sturdy.

I enjoy the chairs, but the building process.. you're going to need something else to screw the screws in besides the tool they give you.

Solid, attractive chairs but definitely closer to black than "dark walnut". The screws were very difficult to screw in, would definitely recommend upgrading to a ball allen key or you will be screwing each one in very marginally at a time
