The longer I have it, the more i like it. Better quality than similar stools at lower prices. Arrives assembled. Well constructed. Beautiful fabric on comfortable padded seat. Height at 27 inches is just right for easy on and off. Tried an excellent 30" high stool and had to return it. My search was rewarded with the Padillo.

we bought these bar stools after searching for a long time. The challenge that we were facing was to find bar stools that would have legs that would match our floor. We didn't want a contrast as we were trying to go for a mix of upscale beach feeling & french country (Think the Hampton's house in the "something gotta give movie"). Quality: In terms of quality, we were very please. the wood is beautiful, solid and the craftsmanship very well done. Color: The color of the wood is bleached white and sand. there is no yellow tones, no natural oak tones and no greenish tones. You can see the veins of the wood very well which gives it a rich and more earth/natural look. The cushion is made of linen which is sand. The quality of the linen is stunning we must say. It doesn't stretch, it doesn't fade and more importantly, it cleans very well (proof of fire: we have 2 kids of less than 3 years old and we sit on these bar stools everyday to feed the kids. We had more than one accident (!!) and we just pat dry, clean with water and when needed we had a little dish soap and it works every time.) The entire place is in tones of gray, beige, sand and the kitchen is white and this works perfectly well (it is hard to find a wood color that will work with both beige and gray). Comfort: the seats are large and comfortable. they are cushioned enough. they could be more but the look wouldn't be as nice. But don't get me wrong, you can be sitting there for hours (which we do as feeding toddlers can take forever!) and we are very comfortable. Design: they are very well done. The only thing that I would have like to be different are the nails around the fabric. I ordered the bar stools thinking that I would change the fabric and at the same time, change the nails. When they arrrived, they were so well done, they are so nice that I decided not to change the fabric and even if I am not crazy about the nails, they actually don't distract - if they would have been chrome, they would probably have been distracting. It is more muted the way it is. Considerations: I am giving these bar stools a 5 stars rating and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Put some little pads under the legs to avoid scratching your floor. In terms of comfort, it would probably have been more comfortable to have bar stools with a back (which is what we wanted and the look that we were after) until the day that we bought some and that our son made one of them tip over in the first 5 minutes that we took them out of the box as these tend to be more top heavy in general. This model without back works better/safer if you have kids but still love to decorate.
