Love love love - this has been a lifesaver for a smaller kitchen with little counter space!

We absolutely love this Island Set. It gives us so much more counter space in the kitchen as well as more storage. We eat dinner at this island every night and our 2 year old loves having his own "shelf" to put his snacks and drinks on. I had a handyman put it together and he said that he was extremely impressed by the quality.

I am no stranger to assembling furniture but balked a bit at paying more for this piece than other 'assembly required' pieces in the past. Well worth it! The unit is high quality: cut well, sturdy and beautifully finished (purchased the oak). Reading the other reviews convinced me to take the leap and I'm so glad I did! I was able to assemble it all myself only needing help from my husband to lift the heavy pieces. Otherwise, it was a very simple set up! My only complaint would be that we were sent a duplicate bag of bolts instead of wood screws. Rather than messing with Customer Service just for eight screws, we simply went to the hardware store and got exactly what we needed. Incidentally, I tried to call the manufacturing company as recommended on the box to report this but… What a surprise!… all circuits were busy. Apparently all day. I'm still giving this a five star rating though, because the quality surpassed my expectations. This was my first order from Wayfair and I will be ordering again based on this experience.
